Pet House Rules
We welcome quiet, non-aggressive pets that are housebroken, and well behaved. All pet guests must be completely free of fleas and ticks, be clean, well groomed and up to date on shots and vaccinations. Please advise age and breed. Please speak to us if you have a young puppy before booking.
Folly Farm may accept one small to medium size dog. Please bring your pet’s favourite bedding or pet bed. The veranda has gates and is a safe space for your pet to watch the world go by. Dog towels are provided to wipe pets feet. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture.
Under no circumstances may a pet be bathed in the guest bathroom. Please ask us for the name of a nearby pet grooming service should your pet require bathing. Do not use cottage towels to dry pets or feed your dog from cottage dinner set.
Never Leave a Pet Unattended in the Cottage
Olinda is very pet-friendly, and there are many restaurants and cafes that will welcome you and your pet.
Outside the Cottage
Dogs must always be on a leash when outside the Cottage and on the premises. No dogs are permitted within the blueberry enclosure. This helps protect our pets, your dog and local wildlife. This is a rural region and your pet will be safe on lead.
Alpaca
Folly Farm is home to beautiful alpaca. Please keep your dog on a lead at all times and please do not approach the alpaca even with a dog on lead. Alpaca do not like dogs and they may have babies or be pregnant. Do not feed alpaca.
Pet Cleanup
The grounds and gardens of the Folly Farm are for the enjoyment of guests. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets; a green garbage bin for waste disposal is located next to the cottage.
Pet Damage
Owners are responsible for all damage caused to the room and premises by their pet. Any damage will be charged accordingly. Damage may include charges for professional cleaning, rug replacement and lost revenue charges while the room is out of service due to cleaning and repairs.
