One Cottage Perfect for Two People
Setting the mood is a beautiful wrought iron chandelier, handmade by a local blacksmith and a romantic four poster bed, hand turned by local craftsman. The polished spotted gum floors and original leadlight French doors from the main house are complimented by the light and sunny aspect.
Enjoy all the Dandenong Ranges has to offer and then relax in a bubbling double spa, curl up in front of the fire and sleep peacefully in this romantic, luxury accommodation retreat.
Edna Walling Gardens & Shepherd's Hut
Explore our historic garden, designed by legendary Edna Walling in the 1930’s and now classified by the National Trust. In true Walling style, the rockwork by Ellis Stones, is from the property and equally as special is the small pond built at the same time by Eric Hammond. Enjoy beautiful views to Mt. Dandenong, walk to our lower paddock and see Melbourne’s skyline a world away.
The shepherds hut is a cosy escape in winter or a delightful summerhouse during the warmer weather! A beautiful daybed and fire add to the ambience. Perfect for meditation, an afternoon Devonshire Tea or a romantic dinner...
Blueberry Picking & Our Alpacas
Our blueberries thrive in the mountain climate where the rich soils, long winters and cool summer days produce exceptional blueberries. Between January and March, be inspired by the beautiful surroundings, enjoy a few hours gathering your own berries….perhaps collect extra to freeze and enjoy over winter.
Our beautiful Alpaca's are relatively new to Folly Farm and have provided much entertainment since their arrival. Some days, not much work gets done while we sit and watch their antics.
